Opening of Celebration Home
Venue: 16 Akpakpan Street, Uyo
Time: 7:30 AM
The celebration home will be formally opened at the family residence. This marks the beginning of the funeral activities, creating a central gathering place for family members, friends, and well-wishers. Guests are welcome to visit, pay respects, and spend time with the family in a warm and reflective atmosphere.

Visits, Testimonies & Family Reflections
Venue: 16 Akpakpan Street, Uyo
This day is dedicated to visits from friends, associates, and community members. Attendees will have the opportunity to share testimonies, recount personal experiences, and reflect on Mama’s life, character, and the positive impact she had on others.
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 15, 2026 — EFIK DAY
Cultural & Alumni Gathering
Featuring: Uyo Old Boys, SAS Alumni
Time: 4:00 PM
This special cultural day celebrates Mama’s heritage and connections. Members of Uyo Old Boys and SAS Alumni will gather to honor her life, share memories, and celebrate her cultural roots and longstanding relationships within these communities.
THURSDAY, APRIL 16, 2026
MMAETE Foundation Widows Outreach (MFCPW)
Time: 10:00 AM
In continuation of Mama’s legacy of compassion, the MMAETE Foundation will host a special outreach program for widows. Beneficiaries will receive support items including cash gifts, wrappers, and palm oil, reflecting Mama’s lifelong commitment to caring for those in need.
Gathering (Fountain of Praise Women’s Guild + Men’s Fellowship)
Time: 4:00 PM
Members of the Women’s Guild and Men’s Fellowship will gather to honor Mama’s life through prayers, songs, and tributes, celebrating her influence, strength, and contributions to both the church and the wider community.

Service of Songs

An evening of worship, praise, and reflection, where family, friends, and well-wishers gather to celebrate Mama’s life through hymns, prayers, and uplifting messages.
Friends Night
Venue: 16 Akpakpan Street, Uyo
Time: 8:00 PM
A special night dedicated to friends and close associates to share memories, stories, and heartfelt tributes. This gathering highlights the personal relationships and lasting bonds Mama built over the years.
SATURDAY, APRIL 18, 2026
Funeral Service
Venue: Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, 73 Wellington Bassey Way, Uyo
Time: 9:00 AM
The official funeral service will be conducted by the church, featuring prayers, scripture readings, and a sermon celebrating Mama’s life, faith, and legacy.
Private Interment (Family & Church Leadership Only)
Venue: 16 Akpakpan Street, Uyo
Following the service, Mama will be laid to rest in a private ceremony attended by immediate family members and church leadership.
Reception
Venue: Government Technical School, Ewet, Nwaniba road, Uyo
Time: 11:30 AM
A reception will follow immediately after the interment, providing an opportunity for guests to gather, share in fellowship, and celebrate Mama’s life.
Evening Reception (Controlled Access)
Venue: Jacksonville Event Centre, Ewet Housing Estate, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State
Time: 5:00 PM
A specially organized evening reception for invited guests, dignitaries, and close associates, offering a more intimate setting for continued celebration and interaction.

Thanksgiving Service

The funeral activities will conclude with a thanksgiving service, giving glory to God for Mama’s life, her legacy, and the impact she made on family, church, and community.
